I have relatively mixed feelings about the Bohemian Rhapsody movie coming out this fall. We just got a peak at the trailer and of course it looks pretty dope... I mean, how could it not? It's two minutes with clips of Queen's most popular songs with some video and nary a line of dialogue. Okay, that's not exactly true but there's very little.

The thing that makes feature biopics exceptional is showing that the person has flaws and overcame hardship. Well, given the facts as well as rumors that have circled about Freddie Mercury one wouldn't think it would be too difficult to tell that kind of hard hitting story.

Unfortunately, the band's remaining members have had a lot of influence in the making of this movie and they seem to be worried about the band's reputation. It's been well documented that Sacha Baron Cohen has been involved with the project for a number of years, but quit over a dispute regarding the film's direction.

Given that it sounds like the band wants a romanticized view of the past, I'm cautiously optimistic about how good or even accurate this move is going to be.

See for yourself... Are you excited?

As a bonus, here's Sacha Baron Cohen talking with Howard Stern about his involvement with the project.
